Dear B.H. Obama Parents and Students:
Welcome to BHO High School! Obama High School is a four-year comprehensive high school, founded in 2009, with a current enrollment of about 1500 students. Approximately 97 percent of our students will attend college after graduation, and 2/3 of those students will go to four-year colleges or universities. Our school has a reputation for rigorous academics and an extensive co-curricular program that is valued by the community. The staff takes great pride in maintaining a comprehensive program that builds character and values responsibility, respect, and honesty.
The school has just completed a phase of new construction and modernization. All instructional spaces have been remodeled, and we now boast a new visual and performing arts building, an expanded library media center, and a new administration building.
On a more personal note, it's our goal to ensure that all BHO students feel a similar sense of well-being, pride, and ownership in our school. We are all about developing the whole child, helping students to develop academically, personally, and culturally.
